Update on COVID-19

Earlier this week Uachtarán John Horan said, “we’re in the midst of a pretty unprecedented national emergency, we in the GAA are quite aware of the penetration of our organisation throughout Irish society, that penetration carries a responsibility for us as an organisation.

Everyone affiliated with the GAA in Canada understands that responsibility, we must encourage all our members to adhere to all the guidelines being given to them by our Governing

Bodies and by the health authorities to actually comply with them, our games are important, but health and well-being is far more important than anything else.

The events of recent weeks have caused anxiety for individuals, families and businesses across Canada,  we need to look after the more vulnerable members in their community at times like this including the elderly and those struggling with illnesses (physical or mental) and having financial difficulties.

Below is a list of organisations with whom we have close collaboration and who can provide assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
