Referees are an important part of all games, and the CGAA is committed to ensuring that referees have the skills they need on the pitch.
An Online Referee Training that covers men’s football and hurling is now available to existing and new referees. The training is open to both ladies and men.

There is a 40-question quiz that must be completed upon completion of the online training. The deadline for enrolling and taking the online component of the training is March 31st.
The second part of the referee qualification will be a Q&A session with Ulster-based referee tutors. Attendance at the Q&A session is required in order to complete the entire course. The Q&A session is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 9th at 6pm Irish time (to be confirmed with Ulster).
