Want to brush up on your refereeing skills?
The CGAA will be holding a virtual referee refresher webinar on June 27 at 11AM EDT, featuring Brendan Rice. The 90 minute webinar is intended for current referees or those who have already taken a refereeing course.
Brendan, a teacher by trade, began his refereeing career back in 2007 and worked his way through the county to provincial & national status. On his way, he has refereed 3 Down county finals and an Ulster Minor Final in 2011. Although now not on the men’s panel, he continues to referee for the LGFA and has accumulated 8 national finals including 2 Senior All-Ireland finals in 2016 & 2019. He continues his work off the field for both the GAA as a tutor & National Referee Advisor as well as a tutor for the LGFA.
