Clan na Gael [Clann na nGael], Est. 2016, is a Hurling GAA club in Toronto, Canada. It was founded by Kieran Boyle alongside Micheal Cussan and with the help of the Toronto Gaels committee. All long time Gaels players, they had taught long and hard about adding a hurling team to their existing football club. Over much discussion it was decided to start a seperate hurling club called Clann na nGael. This would allow for more opportunities for the club, thus growing hurling in the city of Toronto.
The club has been very successful to date, winning two 9 aside tournaments aswell as the Toronto GAA Hurling League Final 2017. Now with 2 succesfull Hurling teams in the city, we hope we have opened the door for more clubs to follow our pursuit.
